Aerial Video – March 30th 2008 – HBThompson Middle School

Recorded this aerial video at HBThompson Middle school.  You can see part of the Long Island Expressway (LIE) in the video.
Here are the stills I took that day on the 2nd flight with the Aiptek A-HD. They come out clearer than the videos. 8MP interpolated.

Griffin SmartShare Headphone Splitter + Headphone Adapter for iPhone

I just picked up this Griffin device for using the iPhone with regular headphones since the headphone jack on the iPhone is recessed slightly.  It also comes with a dual output splitter with independant volume controls so you can share the audio with a friend.
Both adapters can fit into the iPhone fine, so you get two devices for the price of one basically.
I tested it with my Sennheiser HD-280 headphones and the iPhone sounds amazing.
I picked mine up from the Griffin online store for $14.99 with free shipping.  They also carry these in the Apple store I think.

Slow Stick Parachute Drop Test

A few weeks ago I tested out my Drop box by putting 3 parachute men in it and flying really high and letting them go.
Two of the chutes, didn’t open. (Don’t let me pack your parachute)
After the page flip transition is where I drop it.
With my motor and setup, the plane should be called a Fast Stick. :)

Well Common Craft is a group of people who are great at explaining tech things in ways everyone can understand and relate to.
They created a video that explains what and how Twitter works.

NIN – Ghosts I-IV New Album Download

Looks like NIN is trying out what Radiohead did with their In Rainbows album.
I like songs with electronic bass, it’s more food for my subwoofers
I got the album already. This album should be fun to listen to.
