Today I received my Microsoft Bluetooth 5000 Notebook Mouse from Amazon.com. The mouse is very light compared to the Apple Wireless Bluetooth Mighty Mouse due to it using smaller AAA batteries. The mouse is not as thin as other mice. I find it’s not as ergonomic as the Apple Style Mighty Mouse. One good function is the mouse has a low battery indicator to remind you to change the batteries.
You can find more about the mouse here.
Apple Web Apps Webpage for iPhone and iPod Touch

Apple created a website for the iPhone and iPod touch that has a bunch of Web Apps organized by category. The page is not designed to be iPhone/Touch Safari specific, but the web apps are. The page is viewed like a normal page where you zoom in and out. I think it’s a matter of time before they make it viewable specifically for the iPhone or iPod Touch.
You can check out the Web Apps page here.
Radiohead In Rainbows – Pay what you want album.

Radiohead released its new album today for download over the internet. The unique thing about this album is that you pay what you want for it. So if you think it’s worth $0, you pay $0, if you think it’s worth $20, pay $20 etc…
I think this is a great idea and test.
You can download a copy of the new album here.
Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard

Yesterday, my local Apple store finally got the wireless keyboard in stock. I have the usb slim keyboard on my PC and love the feel and action of the keys, so I wanted to get the wireless model for my Dell Linux Box. I ended up using my $100 iPhone early buyer credit to purchase it.
The keyboard works great. I was able to get it to work with Ubuntu 7.04 Fiesty Fawn along with the Bluetooth Wireless Mighty Mouse (How-to here). The eject key even opens the CD tray in Linux. The keyboard battery compartment opens with a coin and takes 3 AA batteries and boasts very good battery life (About 7 months). Overall this is the best small keyboard I have ever used.
The keyboard goes for $79.00 and is available at the Apple Store online here.
Update 10/12/2007:
I later tried to get it working with Windows XP but had no luck.
XP would detect the keyboard, but didn’t let me enter a pin to connect to it.
New Zunes from Microsoft.

Microsoft just announced on Tuesday a new line of Zune Digital Media Players.
The new Zune will come in pink, green, black, or glossy red and have 4GB or 8GB of flash memory. They also have a larger Black 80GB hard drive model that has a larger 3.2″ screen. All models have built in FM-Tuners.
Among some of the more interesting features are:
Wireless Sync – You won’t need to plug in your media player to sync with your computer.
New innovative touch controls – Similiar to the iPod?
Recorded television content to go – You’ll need a Vista computer for this with a TV Tuner.
The new Zunes are priced from $149 to $249 and will be available in stores this November. They are available for pre-order now at Amazon.com and CircuitCity.com.
